GROUP 3: Ferris Wheel Function

wowww.. okay, it's Sunday & I still haven't been able to get a hold of the other two members of our group. So, since me and Jasmin agreed with each other's answers, I'm just going to publish them. Sorry, to the rest of the group for not knowing your opinions and answers, but it's the last day of the weekend and I don't want to get scolded at by Mr. K. So...

I'm not sure if Jasmin and I did it the same way, but this is the way I did it.

A) Write two equations, one sine and one cosine, that would represent the distance above the ground as a function of time. Let t = 0 when the seat is at the lowest point on the wheel.

B) How high will a person be 10 seconds after they begin riding the ferris wheel?
The person will be 78 feet in the air after riding the Ferris Wheel for 10 seconds.

C) How long after a person gets on the ride will they actually be 100 feet in the air?

D) How long, during each revolution, is a person more than 60 feet in the air?
For letter D), I think we might have done it wrong though. It says "more than 60 feet" so does that mean we should've put in 61 instead of 60??
